My gratitude to Corinne Boon for sharing this breeding and this puppy with me.
At just over 4 months Maya tried her hand at herding and loved it! She passed her instinct test although she was too young to certify. She came back  at 7 months and passed again earning her Collie Club of America Herding Instinct Certificate (HIC).

From the puppy classes in AKC competition, she was recognized with two All Breed 4 pt majors and 2 Specialty major reserves before her first birthday. She finished with a 3rd major at the Collie Club of Washington Specialty show.  Her litter brother finished the same day going WD/BW. Another litter brother is now finished and her litter sister is major pointed.  Maya is also a Herding group 1 winner & group placer.

Maya finished 2017 ranked #16 (Canine Chronicle All Breed)

2018 brought her a Bronze Grand Championship title and a nice Group 2 win! She finished 2018 ranked #20 (Canine Chronicle All Breed)

As a Veteran her only weekend out she picked up a big Best Opposite to Variety under Lee Runnels. Maya has maintained her beautiful lean and light head into her senior years.
