Puppy Placement
What to expect…..
As some general info on placing puppies, they would be available to leave after 9 weeks of age. They will have at least 1 puppy shot and will have a series of wormings.
Each puppy will have been evaluated by a canine ophthalmologist and have a cardiac and wellness exam. They will also be microchipped prior to placement and will have a breed specific genetic panel run.
All puppies include an information packet with the following:
- Vaccination record
- Worming record
- All exam and testing results on the puppy
- Testing results on parents
- Testing results on grandparents (if available)
- Thumb drive with birth and growth photos as well as photos of immediate family
- Tips on raising puppies including recommend diet and vaccination series
- All puppies are sold on contract with one of the main conditions being that if for any reason a Collie cannot be kept at any point in its life, I have the option to take the dog back first
- Placements as companions require spay or neuter
Adult Placement
Each adult will have a different set of life experiences and the matching process and conditions of placement reflect the uniqueness of each dog. Details will be discussed when an older puppy or adult is available.
Regardless of the reasons for placement, all dogs sold will include a contract that requires we be the first contact in the event a family cannot keep the dog.
